Non avete idea di quanti ragazzi italiani stanno chiamando per dei colloqui, qui in Francia. Alcuni ne ho conosciuti direttamente qui e altri mi contattano, vuoi perchè mi conoscono direttamente, vuoi perchè mi trovano sul Web tramite LinkedIn etc.
Fatto sta che qui pare abbiano trovato proprio la mucca da mungere con l’Italia: con gli stipendi italiani, qui è fin troppo semplice convincerci, ti offrono qualcosa che qui è assoluta normalità mentre in Italia si sta a casa dei genitori fino a 30 anni, perchè non è economicamente sostenibile altrimenti. E qui lo sanno benissimo. Nelle ultime settimane sto assistendo a un lento esodo o continue mail di ragazzi, e amici, che mi chiedono informazioni perchè contattati da aziende francesi. Vogliono sapere se è veramente tutto oro quel che luccica: lo è. Ma parlo per la mia categoria, quella dei giovani ingegneri.
Fa tristezza perchè non sono lauree qualsiasi che cercano: cercano ingegneri. Fa tristezza per l’Italia ovviamente. E chiaccherando con ragazzi francesi, è saltato fuori che qui le scuole di ingegneria sono molto diverse dalle nostre, sono più “generaliste”. Mentre da noi la facoltà di ingegneria informatica è qualcosa che scegli da subito, qui è solo un ramo della successiva specializzazione. Come dire: noi siamo i più specializzati per le figure professionali che cercano qui. E unendo questo alla situazione salariale italiana, piano piano si stanno prendendo tutti i cervelli da scuole come Politecnico di Torino e di Milano, con una facilità disarmante. Sophia Antipolis, uno dei poli tecnologici più avanzati d’Europa, si nutre di giovani ingegneri italiani, formati meglio in Italia e che non hanno alternative che andarsene.
